Item Details

A Shelley jelly mould in the shape of an armadillo. This is marked “SHELLEY” within a shield, with “MADE IN” above and “ENGLAND” beneath. It dates from c.1920. Shelley produced this design in four different sizes and this is the smallest. The moulding is very well detailed and would turn out well. The mould is in excellent condition but there is a tiny piece of kiln grit in the base.
