Item Description

A small, Shelley, Russell pattern jelly mould. This is marked “Shelley WARE ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1930. The Russell pattern is one of those which Shelley named after London hotels. The Russell Hotel, in Bloomsbury, was designed by Charles Fitzroy Doll in 1898 but it is now known as the “Kimpton Fitzroy” Hotel. This jelly mould is the smallest that Shelley made in this design and it is stamped with a number ‘1’ to the top. It is in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Diameter 10.6cm. Height 7cm.
