Item Details

A Shelley, Westminster pattern jelly mould. This is marked “Shelley” in green transfer print, and it dates from c.1920. Shelley named a number of their jelly mould patterns after London hotels and this is one of them. It is a good shape, which turns out well. There is no damage to the mould but there is a lot of flecking and kiln grit within the pot which is from the time of manufacture.
