A fine quality, small, 18th century, Wedgwood, black jasper dip plaque depicting a scene from Shakespeare’s Midsummer Nights Dream This marked “WEDGWOOD” and it dates from c.1790. The relief is super quality and the plaque is in very good condition. There is a roughness to the white jasper, on the reverse of the plaque but this does not affect the face at all.
Dimensions: Length 11.5cm. Height 9cm. Depth 0.5cm.
