Item Description
A small, English copper deep saute pan and cover. This has no manufacturers marks but both the side of the pan and the lid are engraved with the initials “M.S.S” which would be the initials of a previous owner. The pan is well made, from a very heavy gauge of copper, and it dates from c.1870. It is in very good condition, but there is slight pitting to the lid. The interior has been re-tinned so that the pan can be used.
Dimensions: Diameter of pan 18.1cm. Depth of pan 7.3cm. Overall length of pan and handle 35cm.
