Item Details

A small, French copper casserole and cover. This is made from a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1900. It has unusually large steel handles for the size of the pan, and these are attached by copper rivets. The benefit of these would be that, as the pot is small, you can hold the handles further away from the heat of the pot. The piece is in excellent condition, and the interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
Dimensions: Depth of pan 7.9cm. Height including the lid 11.6cm. Diameter of pan 16.5cm. Width across the handles 25cm.
