Item Details

A small, late 19th century, French copper grain measure shaped to resemble a drum. Grain measures of this type were made in numerous sizes and styles. This is a particularly small example, of unusual dimensions, as it is quite tall in relation to its width. The copper has a smooth finish and the decoration is all applied using tools. It dates from c.1890 and is in very good condition.
