Item Description
A small, 19th century, French copper salmon kettle. This no longer has a lid, so it is not suitable for culinary use, but it would make a lovely jardiniere on a windowsill or on the centre of a table. It its made from a heavy gauge of copper, has castellated seams and it dates from c.1880. Both sides are stamped with the name “BARAULT”. This would probably have been the name of a previous owner rather than a manufacturers mark. There are a few small scratch marks to the copper but otherwise it is in very good condition. The tinning, to the interior, is worn.
Dimensions: Length of pan 52.5cm. Width 15cm. Depth 10.5cm. Overall length including the brass handles 55.2cm. Overall height including the handles 15cm.
Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £50. Most of Western Europe add £25.
