Item Details

A small, 19th century ironstone mould with a bunch of fruit to the base. These are probably meant to be pears and they lay on a flat top above fluted sides. The mould is made from ironstone and has a blue glaze. It is English, and it dates from c.1860. The moulding is well detailed and it would turn out well. There is a small chip on the rim but otherwise it is in good condition.
Dimensions: Diameter 10.3cm. Depth 5.2cm.
