Item Details

A small, late 19th century, French copper casserole. This is made from a substantial gauge of copper and it dates from c.1890. It has the traditional French form of steel handles, attached by copper rivets, to both sides of the casserole and also to the lid. There is slight scratching to the base, from use, but generally it is in very good condition, and the interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
Dimensions: Depth of pan 10.2cm. Height including the lid 12.8cm. Diameter of pan 20.4cm. Width across the handles 28.5cm.
