Item Details

A small pewter ice cream mould in the shape of a mussel shell. This is marked, in the casting to both sides, “C.C”. This is the mark of the French company Cadot. The design is well detailed and the mould, which dates from c.1880, is in good condition. The exterior has a very dark patina and the interior is in very good, usable condition.
Dimensions: Length 8.5cm. Width 5.7cm. Depth when closed 3.7cm.
