Item Details

A small, 19th century, Sunderland lustre bowl. This is printed, in black, with rural scenes to either side. One shows children playing with boats, on a pond, in front of a cottage and the other show haymakers. The prints are joined by scrolling, pink lustre lines and there are bands of lustre to the rim and foot. It dates from c.1840 and is in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Diameter 12cm. Height 7.8cm.
