Item Details

A small, Wedgwood black basalt spill vase. This is marked “WEDGWOOD” and it dates from c.1860. It is also impressed with a number “4” which relates to the height in inches. The vase is sprig moulded with two of the Muses standing between trees and foliage. To the rim is a classical border of scrolls and flowers. This is a good quality piece and it is in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Height 9.6cm. Diameter 5.5cm.
