Item Details

A small, Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip jardiniere. This is marked “WEDGWOOD ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1900. The ogee shaped jardiniere is decorated, in white relief, with a continuous band of classical maidens offering sacrifices. To the base is a band of acanthus leaves and to the rim is a border of laurel leaves and berries. All of the reliefs are very good quality and the jasper dip is a good, rich shade of blue. The piece is in excellent condition.
