Item Details

A small, Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip violeteer. This is marked “WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1920. It is also impressed with a small workman’s mark and a letter “A”. It is decorated with two classical subject groups between trees and foliage. To the lid are acanthus leaves and small, stylised flowers. The reliefs are good quality and the jasper dip is a rich shade of blue. Both the violeteer and cover are in excellent condition.
