A small, dark blue, jasper dip jug of tapered form. This jug is marked 'WEDGWOOD' and it dates from c.1880. It has an impressed number '42' which would be a batch number. It is decorated with a continuous band of classical figures and foliage. To the rim is a band of grapes and vines. All of the reliefs are good quality and the jasper dip is a good, rich shade of blue. It is in excellent condition.
