Item Details

A charming, small, 18th century, Wedgwood three colour jasperware plaque. This is marked “WEDGWOOD” and it dates from c.1790. It is also impressed with a large letter “C” which would be the workman’s mark. The white jasper plaque is dipped in a matt, lilac glaze, which is decorated, in white relief with cupid riding a lion. To the rim is a border of pale blue which is relief decorated with white flowers. It is in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Diameter 6cm. Thickness 3mm.
