Item Details

A good quality, steel ice or sugar cleaver in the shape of a horse. This is French and it dates from c.1900. The blade is well formed, in the shape of quite a heavy horse and the handle is an attractive combination of brass and fibre block. The steel blade is quite heavily pitted, with use, but otherwise the piece is in very good condition.
Dimensions: Length 30.5cm. Height 16cm. Width of handle 2cm.
