Item Details

An early 20th century, sycamore breadboard with a carved border. This is quite deeply carved with the motto “OUR DAILY BREAD”, barley and long, stylised leaves, all against a stipple background. The wood has a lovely, honey coloured patina and the board dates from c.1910.
It is in very good condition, with just the usual knife marks to both the face and the reverse, from use.
Dimensions: Diameter 30.3cm. Depth 2cm.
