Item Details

A good quality, 19th century, sycamore breadboard. This is English and it dates from c.1880. The border is well carved with flowers, leaves and wheat. The carving is deep but is now nicely worn with use. The board is in very good condition with just the usual knife marks to both the face and reverse of the board, from use. The wood has a pale honey coloured patina.
Dimensions: Diameter 29.5cm. Depth 2cm.
