Item Details

A well carved, 19th century, sycamore breadboard. The border of this board is carved with “Welcome”, in an attractive script, and wheat and barley. The board dates from c.1870 and is in very good condition. There is scratching to the face of the board, from use, but due to the shaping of the border the design is not very worn. The wood has a lovely, pale patina.
Dimensions: Diameter 30.3cm. Depth 2.5cm.
