Item Details

A nineteenth century, English sycamore breadboard. This is carved with “Bread”, and long ears of wheat and barley, and it dates from c.1890. The wood has a lovely pale patina. There are some small stains to the reverse of the board and there are knife marks to both the face and the reverse of the board from use.
Dimensions: Diameter 30cm. Depth 1.8cm.
