Item Details

A two part, copper ice cream mould in the shape of a melon. This is made from a substantial gauge of copper, it is English and it dates from c.1900. It is stamped with the number ”357” over “5”. This could be a pattern number but there are no manufacturers marks. It is unusual, and also very practical, in that it has the foot to stand on when filled. There is also a very small, brass loop attached so that it can hang when not in use. It is in excellent condition and the tinning, to the interior, is still in very good, usable condition.
