Item Details

A two part wooden butter mould carved with a nut. This is made by The Disc and Easy Churn Co. Limited who were only in existence from 1897 until 1916. It would be used for moulding a three dimensional piece of butter in the shape of a nut. It is well carved and very naturalistic. There has been some wood worm damage but this has been treated and filled. Otherwise it is in good condition.
Dimensions: Length 7cm. Width 7.2cm. Height 6.2cm.
