Item Details

An unusual, nineteenth century, twisted copper S hook. This is made from a heavy gauge of copper and it has turned ends which resemble a shepherd’s crook. It is English, dates from c.1880, and is in excellent condition. It is unusual in that it is not a simple S shape but it is twisted at a strange angle, possibly to fit into an awkward place.
Dimensions: Length 22.6cm. Width 4.5cm. Diameter of hook 1cm.
