Item Details

An unusually small, good quality, French copper egg whisking bowl. This is made from a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1880. It has a wired, rolled rim and there is a brass hanging loop attached by a nicely shaped copper fitting. It is in excellent condition. There is a very strange, circular mark in the copper which shows on the exterior of the bowl but is also visible on the interior. This is from the manufacture and would have been a mark in the sheet of copper from which the bowl was made.
