Item Details

A very small, 19th century, copper skimmer or fish slice. This is French and it dates from c.1880. It is made from a heavy gauge of copper and the end of the handle is turned, resembling a shepherd’s crook, so that it can hang when not in use. It is in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Length 36.2cm. Width of skimmer 7cm.
