Item Details

A nineteenth century dust pressed picture tile printed with a scene from a series of nursery rhymes. This tile is English and dates from c.1880. It is printed, in black, with “LITTLE BOY BLUE” and he is surrounded by panels of flowers, berries and foliage printed in brown. There is very minor chipping to the rim but otherwise it is in good condition.
Dimensions: 15.2cm. square by 1cm thick.
