Item Details

A nineteenth century, Wedgwood black basalt plaque. This is marked “WEDGWOOD” and it dates from c.1860. It is relief decorated with one of the Labours of Hercules. It represents Hercules and the Erymanthian boar and show Hercules with the boar over his shoulder. The relief is very deep and very well detailed and the plaque is in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Height 19.2cm. Width 14.4cm. Depth 2cm.
