Item Details

A Wedgwood black basalt plaque. This is marked “WEDGWOOD ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1900. It is relief decorated with one of the Labours of Hercules. It represents Hercules and the Nemean lion and show Hercules wrestling with the lion. The relief is very deep and very well detailed and the plaque is in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Height 19cm. Width 14.4cm. Depth 2cm.
