Item Details

A small, Wedgwood, black basalt spill vase. This is marked ”WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1920. It is also impressed with a number ”4” which relates to the height in inches. It is decorated, in relief, with Apollo and one of the Muses standing between trees and foliage. To the rim is a border of scrolls and flowers. The reliefs are all good quality and the vase is in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Height 9.8cm. Diameter 5.6cm.
