Item Details

A Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip, square trinket box and cover. This is marked ”WEDGWOOD ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1900. The lid is decorated, in white relief, with a scene showing Venus and Cupid. This is surrounded by four large, stylised flowers and a narrow flower border. The box is decorated with four different scenes all depicting cupids and putti and there are anthemion on the corners. The reliefs are good quality and the jasper dip is a rich shade of blue. The box and cover are both in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Width 10.5cm. Depth 5cm.
