Item Details

A nice quality, Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip trinket box from a dressing table set. This is marked “WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1920. It is also impressed with a letter “K” and the number “3 1/2” which relates to the diameter in inches. The lid is decorated, in white relief, with a classical scene surrounded by a border of flowers and to the base are elongated, stylised sunflowers divided by anthemion. All of the reliefs are good quality and the jasper dip is a good, rich shade of blue. It is in excellent condition.
Dimensions overall: Diameter 9.4cm. Height 3.5cm.
