Item Details

A Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip teapot. This is marked ”WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1920. It is also impressed with a number “30”, which would be the batch number, and two letters, an X and a B. It is decorated, in white relief, with a band of classical figures, trees and foliage. To the rim of the lid is a band of acanthus leaves. The reliefs are all good quality and the jasper dip is a rich shade of blue. The teapot and cover are in excellent condition but there is slight staining to the interior of the pot, from use.
