Item Details

A Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip teapot and cover. This is marked with”WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1920. It is decorated, in white relief, with a band of classical maidens offering sacrifices. There are bands of laurel leaves and berries around the spout and the handle, and the lid has a border of acanthus leaves. There are two very tiny chips to the end of the spout but otherwise it is in good condition.
