Item Details

A Wedgwood, dark blue, jasper dip dressing table tray. This is marked “WEDGWOOD ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1900. It is also impressed with a letter “R” which would be the workman’s mark. It is decorated, in white relief, with two of the Muses divided by an anthemion. To the rim is a border of oak leaves and acorns. The reliefs are all good quality. There is a small chip to the rim, on the reverse of the tray, but otherwise it is in good condition.
Dimensions: Length 26.8cm. Width 19.5cm. Depth 2.5cm.
