Item Details

An early 19th century, Wedgwood drabware violeteer with white relief decoration. This is marked “WEDGWOOD” and it dates from c.1830. The drab stoneware body is decorated in white relief, with a number of different classical subjects and the reliefs are very good quality. The piece would have been used for small flowers such as violets. It is unusual in this drabware body and it is in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Diameter 13cm. Height 12cm.
