Item Description
A Wedgwood, pale green, jasper dip milk jug. This is marked ”WEDGWOOD ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1900. It is also impressed with a number ”24”, which would be a batch number, and a separate letter “X”. The jug is decorated, in white relief, with a continuous band of classical figures, trees and foliage. To the rim is a border of grapes and vines. All the reliefs are good quality and the jug is in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Height 16cm. Diameter at the base 9.5cm. Width 12cm.
