Item Details

A 19th century Wedgwood, green jasper dip plaque in a later gilt frame. There is a back on the frame but we have removed this to see the marks. It is impressed “WEDGWOOD”, and there is also a large letter ‘M’, and it dates from c.1860. The plaque is decorated, in white relief, with a classical maiden carrying a garland of flowers. The relief is very good quality and the plaque is in excellent condition. Dimensions of plaque: Height 14.5cm. Width 10.8cm. Overall size with frame: Height 17.5cm. Width 14.5cm. Depth 2.2cm.
