Item Details

A Wedgwood, dark blue, jasper dip jug. This is marked “WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1920. It is also impressed with a letter “V” and a number “24” which would be a batch number. It is decorated, in relief, with Apollo and one of the Muses standing between anthemion. Under the spout are hanging musical trophies and to the rim is a border of ivy leaves. All of the reliefs are very good quality and the jasper dip is a rich shade of blue. The jug is in excellent condition.
