Item Details

A well used sycamore breadboard. This is English and it dates from c.1900. The border is carved with the word “BREAD” and, originally, there were long ears of wheat but these are now very worn with use and only a few outlines can be seen. However, the wood has a lovely patina. Other than the wear the board has knife marks to both the face and the reverse of the board from use.
Dimensions: Diameter 29cm. Depth 2cm.
