Item Description

A nineteenth century, wooden pie mould for making a hand raised pie. This is turned from beechwood and dates from c.1880. You would cut a circle of pastry, put the mould onto the centre of it and then raise the pastry up around the mould. The mould would be removed, the centre filled with the pie mix and then a lid would be crimped into place. This example is in excellent, usable condition.

Dimensions: Height 14.5cm. Diameter 8.4cm.

Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £20. Most of Western Europe add £10.
