A matching pair of classic late 18th century French trumeau mirrors.

[ With apologies for reflections]

From the beautiful Chateau de Saint-Blaise in Bricquebec, these mirrors are simply lovely.

Each depicts an oil painted landscape scene above original glass mirror panels.

One scene depicts a chateau on a hilltop with figures and trees under a muted sky.

The other, a serene river scene with a white countryside house, reflections on the water, small boats and trees.

In off white frames with gilt inner borders.
