Set of Five Welsh Semi-Glazed Earthenware Bowls – c.1920s


A charming set of five individual earthenware bowls from Wales, dating to the 1920s. Each piece is semi-glazed, giving a wonderful contrast between the earthy, natural clay and the softer sheen of the glaze. Varied in size yet harmoniously related, they make a delightful decorative grouping. The largest measures 7 cm high by 17 cm in diameter. All are in good condition, carrying the subtle signs of age and use that lend them authenticity and warmth.
