Item Details

Handsome mahogany Cheval Mirror, with fluted columns supporting the original foxed glass. A few minor losses to the frame, but nothing that particularly distracts, and the colour and polish are both good, with just light wear consistent with age. There is what appears to be the original silk type fabric to the reverse, and this has many tears, but could obviously be either replaced with new fabric, or removed completely. There is a nice brass acorn to one side of the pivot, and although the pivoting is not exactly smooth, in practice the mirror will almost certainly remain in the vertical position. A lovely addition to any dressing room. H: 179cm x W: 94cm x D: 52cm
