A tall and handsome oak Notary cabinet by Stolzenberg, with 16 pull-out drawers above a lift-up and slide-back cupboard. A beautiful example with escutcheon plates and maker’s label still present. There are keys and working locks to the left hand side and lower cupboard, but the right hand side lock no longer appears to work, but is still present. These were originally filing pieces for lawyers, but equally suitable for storing any number of things, and a very modest footprint, so easy to house. Manufactured in Baden Baden near Strasbourg, the company was well known for producing high quality office furniture. The pull-out trays internal dimensions are: H:12cm x W: 36cm x D: 26cm. The lower cupboard is H: 35cm x W: 78cm x D: 30cm
