Rare rosewood case of approximately 170 optician's test lenses, that obviously vary from thin to thick glass, and might make a great display for an optician's window. The case is really good quality - rosewood was always highly prized, and the velvet interior is untouched and lovely. The brass inlay to the case is slightly lifted in one area, but all present, and again, perhaps a sign of quality. One lens and holder appear to be missing. Otherwise in great condition, an interesting collector's item, and a rare find.
