There's nothing we love more than a giant slab of wood and this is certainly that! The block is a tight-grained timber (sycamore or beech?) and stands on a simple pine base - the top bears witness to decades of solid use which is exactly it's charm! Perfect as a decorative piece in a country kitchen this would also make an interesting stand for sculpture, lighting or a floral display.
