A rather beautiful vintage paperweight made from resin encapsulating pink heather flowers - historically this would never have been possible because the heat of the glass would have destroyed the botanical specimen, however with the introduction of resin these became increasingly popular. The resin develops a warm, amber-like patina over time which adds to it's appeal and these paperweights certainly have a collectability as well as a decorative charm.
