A rare and striking antique chandelier c.1900-1910 - this is unusual for a number of reasons. Firstly it has a good amount of age as it dates from the very early part of the 1900's. The shape is unusual - we find it very hard to get hold of square chandeliers and in the right place they are absolutely stunning; the shape of this is enhanced by the two tiers. Finally the cast decoration is rather rare - on the top tier, each side is decorated with putti or cherubs (which is quite a common decorative theme for chandeliers) but the bottom, larger tier boasts the most wonderful crowns on all four sides which is a motif that we've never seen on a light before. Grand, opulant and full of character!

Two of the crowns have some damage as shown in the pictures.

All of our chandeliers have been rewired and restored to current British specifications and are in full working order. We recommend that all chandeliers are fitted by a qualified electrician and are securely fitted into a joist.
